Now we have to come up with something else to complain about besides waiting for V6. It looks dangerously near to being here.

We'll see. Is anyone going to switch day one?

You didn't hear? The offical version of version 5 is NextGen version 8.12.3, then it's back to AC 6.0.

Besides, if you read my lengthy post awhile back, part of the confusion is the way AC puts out their alphas, betas, releases, etc.

With BackupAssist, for example, I ONLY see the latest version. I don't see alphas, betas, updates to betas, etc.

I already switched. They fixed a lot of the things that were messed up in the first two versions but i haven't played with the newest yet because it doesn't work with phreesia yet and a big part of my practice is working with phreesia. . .

It is very stable in the version i am using. It doesnt crash and you don't lose notes...

Ketan, we believe you but many of us don't feel comfortable using a new version, especially a complete upgrade based on just hearing from beta testers. For instance, never switched to the 5.1 series only because of the TSP800 debacle, which I would not have known without the bete version being used by hundreds. The full user group should not even be privy to a true beta tester's feedback, which should only be known by the developers, although there's an advantage to the other method.

I think this will change soon with beta testers being unknown by the users at large until they is a full release confidently uploaded by AC. Only then will there be a series of updates based on feedback from all the users each considered a new release.

Many of us want v6 not due to unmeaningful use but due to new features and fixes.
