Good Evening,

It's time to stop copying chart and send them on in PDF.

What is the quickest and easiest way for me to export my chart, put them in PDF format and burn them to a disk. I don't want to purchase Adobe for this.

Thanks! I'd like to save a tree or two. wink

1) Download a Free program called PDFill at PDFILL.com.
2) Install above - one is an editor and one is a pdf printer driver.
3) Choose pt. you want to export - go to their file open past encounters and in upper left you can choose File, Print entire chart - print to PDF driver from PDFill.
4) Look at chart number and run PDFill Tools (free) and choose merge files - 1)choose file from 3 above, 2) go into AC imported items choose pt. by number and click on all PDF files - hit merge - save as one file.
5) burn to CD - after you do this a couple of times you can do in a minute or two.

Another option would be to use a different program called PDFredirect. This allows you to merge multiple print documents into a single file.

When you go to past encounters and print all it gives you the option to include import items. You do not necessarily need to open the import item folder. They will open independently and then print everything to PDFredirect (or probably PDFill since it seems like it will do the same) they are then merged into a single document.

I have not used PDFill but it looks like an interesting program, I will have to check it out. It seems like it has a lot of useful features.

PDF documents seem to have become the standard transportable document and the ability to work with them is always useful.
