Hey everyone first post! I have a question. How does everyone get patient signatures on documents without having to scan them in and then import them? I was thinking of using abode acrobat and then a signature pad for patients to sign.
Does this work? Has anyone every done this? What do you do?
Thanks!
Ben

Hi Ben, Welcome to AC Userboard. I guess I am not the best one to answer this. There are several devices on the market for obtaining signatures directly to your PC. Phreesia also will supply you with Phreesia pads which will wirelessly send customizeable demographics with signatures for all of your forms. www.phreesia.com

I use Topaz signature pads to get the patients sign on to fillable pdf forms (sign in sheets, HIPAA froms, Release forms and many ohers) that I created. I got my first pad some 5 years ago. Cost me $400 or more. If you have serial port in your computer, you can get one wih serial type connector and not USB type from ebay. I got 5 of these (brand new)for $30.00 each recently.

Do a search on Phreesia, and you will find at least a couple of threads.
