Does anybody have any experience with working with AC and your local lab

to get a new interface built specifically for you?

So this would not be quest or one of the interfaces already in place.

I am working with AC and my local lab to get one built for me for a price.

Can readers share some tips/feedback/anything which will make it smoother to get a lab interface and tell the advantages-- does the lab result display a continuum of results showing the previous ones?

I would prefer new experiences only, getting it custom built. If nobody had one, once mine is built I will share with you!

I have emailed a few times to inquire about this process and met with no response. I would be interested to hear how your experience is.

I've asked my local hospital lab to contact AC about an interface. They have to consult "corporate," which probably means several months at least before any decisions are made. It would be nice to know more details about interfacing with labs - does HL7 work better? other database format? 3rd party like HyperSend? etc.
