I am a new user and trying to put ideal practices into place. Can anyone recommend which online appointment program is working, or not working, for them? Thanks very much.

We are not currently using, but a number of practices we know of are very happy with Appointment Quest. Check out IMPcenter.org. It will probably be mentioned somewhere in the blogs. You can check out the Appointment Quest website, too.

We use AQ and love it. Jon put in a FREE interface for it so that you can download appointments. It doesn't bring in all the data I'd like it to, but hey, he's not charging and it does help alot.

Can someone help with AQ? I emailed the customer support but got a message that they don't interface with AQ. And they dn't support holding information from our system. I guess I am confused at how it works because Tech Support for AC says that AQ just sends over an csv file. But does the interface automatically load it? Do you have to enter all your information in as a new patient on AQ each time? Does AC's interface recognize that the patient from AQ is new versus someone in our system?
Thanks in advance.

I can try. You can only import 1 day at a time, so I usually do it in the morning (like in about 15 minutes.) Just export the file to spreadsheet. The, in AC, instead of importing labs, pick AppointmentQuest (on the same menu).
Now the real issue is that, to get the most out of this, you have to have the fields in AQ in a specific order for them to import into AC. Send me an email to info@doctorcoghill.com and I will send you a sample excel file. Your export file will need to look like this.
It won't import ALL of the demographics, but what is imported is a great help. Maybe we can get Jon to add a few more fields. this is a free interface, btw.
