I am looking in the main AC screen inbox. I can list items by 'show lab to sign off,' 'show charts,' 'show everything,' and so on. However, when I click 'show patient messages' there is nothing. What does AC consider a 'patient message'. there are several items where my CMA has sent me what looks like a patient message, it is a message with a patient chart 'attached', but it does not appear here. Does anyone know what is going on? Try sending yourself a message about a patient, does it come up as a patient message? thanks

I played with this and found the same thing, that drop down is empty. If you open a patient's chart those entries are saved with the label "patient message". The only other place that I found "patient message" was in the printer drop down on the tool bar at the bottom of the patient list box ( next to the binoculars). When I select "print patient messages" nothing happens. I think this is a bug in this version (5.0.29) but ( embarrassed to say) do not know how to report a bug.

Report a bug by going to the "Help" menu at the top of each AC window. In the middle of the drop-down list "Report a bug".
