Anyone on here willing to discuss (even privately) how much they are paying for certain medical supplies? I am relatively new in practice and have been told you can negotiate some of these things. Would like to make sure I am not getting ripped off!

Oh, is it collusion if we talk about it? I would be happy to tell you what I pay for anything you want to know. I am in New Mexico so there are likely regional differences. I can tell you one thing, I paid WAY to much for dermabond. Next time I check on Amazon first.

I check Amazon for everything medical. Their site is gobbling up everyone. They sell $4,000 EKG machines!

When our office 1st got up and running, I bought nearly everything on E-bay. Found great deals. It's well worth.

For medical device supplies (like the cartriges for our A1C machine) we use our local supplier. We are probably getting screwed. But I guess we can afford now that we are doing well. Oh well.

The Schiller is a nice ECG machine, I use mine all the time. Your doc might be able to use it more Ronuk. Aren't there people coming in with chest pain, dizziness, fainting, etc? Pays okay.

I've been using Henry-Schein and they give a special deal for docs. I was going to set up my new office with Mohawk, but H-S turned out cheaper. Buying instruments recently with the following prices on forceps
Roughly some Prices:
H-S floor grade 5 dollars
H-S German 11 dollars
Miltex German 30 dollars
Miltex Tungsten Carbide 140 (gold handle)
