V6 - expected to be released early in 2011 and contain our Practice Managment ties for eligibility, direct clearinghouse connection, etc.
Does this mean V6 contain the practice management cabability or just link to clearign house and patient elgibility.? I would appreciate more clarification.

There are several issues with V6 I discussed with Jon at the AAP conference.
V5.1 is almost out and V5.2 is shortly after that. V5.2 is the one that is likely to get certified for meaningful use, BUT if he needs to get recertified because of a change in version, it MIGHT be V6, with PM becoming V6.?, thus avoiding the need for recertification when PM is added.
PM ability, clearing house availablility and patient eligibility will all be included in the "functional" V6

Wendell, Thanks for your reply and clarification. It is always helpful if you know things in advance and what to expect. I thick we are acting like our patient, we need to know what is going to happen and what is the plan. Thanks again
