I activated my New Crop on Monday. This is Friday and nothing is going through to the pharmacies. How long did it take to get up and going for those out there that are using it? thanks

are you codifying each medication? Must have demographic completed and codify the meds. What error messages are you getting?

No message. Just nothing happening. Haven't received any refill requests either.

When I eprescrib and it goes through, nothing happens but in the plan section of the patient's note it says that the script was transmitted to the pharmacy. Did you check in your plan to see if it went? When I started eprescribing I was sending scripts all over the state without realizing it. I always select one script/page out of habit, then the pharmacy that is easiest to find for me by zipcode and then just hit transmit to pharmacy. If it goes through nothing does happen usually. But check the plan and see if it went.

Actually I called my friendly neighborhood pharmacist and told him I was sending and to call me with issues. Initially nothing went electronically as I hadn't codified the drugs. Works smoothly since codifying....as long as I have selected the proper pharmacy. There have been glitches like it won't let me prescribe 200cc or 30gram. The quantities can only be numbers for the most part. I've had some issues with creams and ointments, topicals but pills are working fine.

Prior to codifying, the scripts ended up at new crop and new crop faxed them but once codified it has been smooth. When I hadn't codified and they got faxed from new crop, it took the phamacy alot longer to get them.

I think I am codifying. It seems I have to do that every time. I will keep trying. Thanks for the tips.

Once you codify a drug in a patients chart it is codified and you won't have to do it again. There is an option when you codify, that you can do it for every patient on the drug at one time. At the user conference this was pointed out to us but it could reek havoc if it is wrong and you click the option for a practice wide change.

I codified a drug incorrectly and selected all patients. Now I can't correct the error and have to amend each patient's chart as I come across them. Anyone know a fix?

Can't you do the correction and "select all patients" again?
