Okay, I know I've done this before but for whatever reason, I can't seem to find how I added a records release to the tab in the demographics window. Did this change with the new version or am I just not remembering the steps properly? I searched the Help but was unable to find the answer.
Sorry for my ignorance.

I am not sure how to find it in the chart anymore, but if you right click on the patient in the Patient List and select "Print Formal Health Record" from the drop down menu, the window will pop up.

Thanks Bert. I don't think that's how I did it before...but it worked and that's what matters!

the only way I've found to record a record release (new version doesn't allow you to free type in the records release tab anymore) is to print either print entire chart or print formal chart, fill out the information on the screen that pops up (HIPPA alert : records released to,,) and hit save. That records where things are going and when, but you don't have to print the whole chart if you're only releasing a fragment of the information instead of the whole chart (which does miss some things when it prints)
