I assume you brought your signature into your User information under administrator options. (Scan your signature, save as a jpeg file, select from your user account under administrator options.) It automatically appends to letters and faxed prescriptions.

I did scan my signature as jpeg file to the desktop. When I borwse for the file. It shows a blank white space. The signature is not in the box. I tried several time with the signature in differant location on the paper , but it is never seen in the box when I browse for it.

I found that I had to crop the part of the image I wanted, as the scanned image itself included a lot of empty space. I also had to reduce the size of my scanned signature a lot to fit it in the box...to about 15% I think. You may just be seeing an open space within near the signature. I opened the scanned image in the paint program, and there was a checkbox to reduce size proportionally (I think under the menu item stretch and skew.) You can also crop the image here. Then save as something like "signature2 and import that. I think this will solve the problem.

I tried to scan the signature again and followed what you said. I still can't get in the box . One time I could see an edge of the signature. I guess i need a little more detailed help. Like were to put your signature on the original . Does it matter up, down in the center of the page. I tried paint program that come with windows to resize the picuture and save it to may desktop. Finally i opened AC in admin section and to edit the provider (myself) when I browse again I see nothing . I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Is there any simpler way to do it. I appreciate your help.

Travis has a detailed explanation of his efforts to format his signature to the correct size here. I suspect that you can't see anything in the signature box after importing your scanned signature (except the edge) because the document is still larger than the maximum 250x35 pixel range.

I forgot that had also used a Mac for the original image manipulation. Travis's explanation is much better.
