I upgraded to v 4 yesterday which was a seemless process. I have a W2000 server as the main computer and 7 workstations in our local network.

Since upgrading, I've encountered some issues including:
1. I keep getting an error report each time I back up offsite, therefore cannot backup
2. Each time I open my practice managment software, EThomas, I also trigger a Windows installer window labeled ACPrerequisites. "Please wait while Windows configures ACPrerequisites. It then asks me to search for the ASPrerequisites.msi installation package. When canceled, it gives me an Error 1706 message. I click cancel for at least 5 times before the box disappears and EThomas opens.

This problem is also present after upgrading from v4 to v5. When trying to open certain applications, the Windows installer is triggered to attempt installing "ACprequisites". Anybody else seeing this and if so do you have a solution?

Hi, I had the same problem with V4 and now with the update to V5. Apparently it is the program that Amazing charts loads initially when installing an update to make sure all the needed componets are loaded for the update. It occurred on every one of my computers after updating. Any time I opened a Windows program it would load initially thinking that it was Amazing charts loading. It became very annoying. After the install on your computers of the Amazingcharts upgrade you can remove it(ACprequisites)by going to control panel and then to add/remove program. You will see the program ACprerequisites. Remove ACprerequisites from the computer so that when you open a Windows program it does not trigger it again. Make sure you remove only the ACprerequiste program and nothing else.
