I am trying to figure out how to document a patient encouter seen in the hospital. I see a fair number of patients in the hospital as a consult. Some of these patient come back to my office as a follow up and some of them I will never see them again. How to document these patient On AC. Any suggestion?

How I do it is to log in through logmein to a computer I have just for remote access. This is logmein pro which allows me to print. It will then print to the nurses station. You could do logmein ignition on a flash drive to speed it up, but it takes me less than 1 minute to log in.
One catch is make sure that when billing it is set to hospital and not office if you bill out of AC, which I do.

The patient's expectation is that you have all the answers, sometimes they just don't like the answer you have for them

When you get to the billing section, on the L hand side there are 2 drop down boxes, one for complexity and the other for site, drop it to hospital and it will remain until changed.
