I just migrated to V5 but to my surprise, I'm unable to change the date when printing orders for labs eventhough there's a drop down menu to do it. I usually give my patients lab orders with dates close to their next appointment. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I just put in the comments right after the first lab I choose - "to be done on __/__/____" and give to pt - it works fine and pt. seem to understand as well as the lab.

I have added these orders in the lab section: FASTING BLOOD WORK - NOTHING TO EAT AFTER YOUR EVENING MEAL and PLEASE COMPLETE THIS BLOODWORK ONE WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR NEXT OFFICE VISIT. I start each with a leading space to keep them at the top of the list. A quick pick when needed.
I have also added the CPT code to the order name for common labs so it will print on the order sheet. I've had no problems with laboratories accepting my printed orders, and no confusion.
