We did the upgrade to version 5.0.26 last night and have lost all of our prior vaccine entries. Any ideas?

Yes, open the Health Maintenance Module [1], then look at the tabs across the top. Iff the patient had prior vaccines entered there will be a Migrate tab. There AC will attempt to match your vaccines in the old format to the new codified format. Check to make sure they're all right then confirm.

This new format will make it easier to use AC to search according to vaccines and I believe speeds up the time it takes staff to enter a new vaccine going forward.

1. (the new button in the upper right of the current encounter, you can also get to it by double clicking on the vaccines tab at the bottom of the summary page)

The new system will autofill a vaccine with the data of the last vaccine of that type you input. So, if you are entering a Hep B vaccine, it will autofill with the data from the last time you input a Hep B vaccine.

We have been having a bit of problem with the migration. It's looking like the vaccine that were done elsewhere; but that we had entered into the AC V4 vaccine registry, are not found by the migration tool. It appears as though it's only finding (for some odd reason) vaccines that we actually administered in our clinic. So, we may have lost that portion of the records?

Anyone else encountered this? Are we doing something wrong?

We've found (yeah love day one of live upgrades whee) that the lot numbers and locations of the injections that were given in version 4 do not migrate over into version 5. Any hints as to what I might be doing wrong in the migration? I don't see anything obvious.
