I am having an issue with Amazing Charts that I am hoping to get others' opinions/work-around solutions.
We would like to track our labs. Either with the rudimentary "tracked labs" feature in Amazing Charts or by using a custom excel flow sheet which has been suggested by other users in the past.
However, when we receive an electronic lab, I cannot open any other window in the patient's chart simultaneously. It also appears that I would not be able to open our excel flow sheet while the electronic lab is being viewed.
If we want to record certain lab values in the "tracked data" section or in our excel flow sheet, we would either have to develop a photographic memory, or print the lab out so that we can physically look at the lab while entering the tracked data items. So we would still need to receive paper copies of our labs in addition to electronic copies.
Has anyone else found a work-around to this problem? Or better yet, have any of these issues been addressed in Version 5? (Namely having multiple windows open at once?)
