I've seen some other requests for this -- so I'm just adding my few cents. Having some sort of color coded system on the schedule to know when someone has checked in would be great. I've seen some recommendations for messaging, etc., to notify the patient has checked in but a simple color change on the schedule seems like it would be an easy fix. Thanks for listening! Have a great day!

One thing you could try is to go to the admin section and add the following type of visits under the appointment types option in the scheduling section: Arrived Room 1 Room 2 Room 3 Gone
or whatever you like. When staff registers the patient, or moves them to the appropriate place, they can edit his appointment type on the schedule and then your schedule is updated with their name and visit type next to it. A quick glance at the schedule lets you know the info you want (minus the colors of course)
Eg, JOHN BROWN SICK (15)on my schedule becomes JOHN BROWN ARRIVED (15)and then onto JOHN BROWN ROOM 2 (15)and I know to head to room 2 because he is ready.
It's quite flexible and easy.
It's not perfect, but it may provide you with what you need.
