Well, after a lot of arguing, I figured out that OA is now correctly checking boxes 12-13 in CMS form and CLIA numbers are included. That is good news, the bad news is hospital is not facility that is used for surgical/admit patients so it is not updating that. Otherwise, big improvement. I am sending this out to make sure no other of you who are using OA wonder why the manual or automatic rejection of billing charges are not happening anymore and things are going through automatically. Almost had a nervous breakdown since noone at AC/OA informed us of improvement or change. Now need to modify bills before we send out to make sure correct. Hope that makes sense. Jack

We started using the claim portion of Office Ally and have had a couple of problems. They keep trying to flag secondary claims that are paper in our system to go through as electronic and that kicks the claim out. They also are having problems with correction of insurance information and payor ID particularly Cigna to Aetna. I'm hoping they got it fixed after our last discussion with their tech support.
I'm hanging on for AC to get their PM program done before I bail on our limp-along-stupid-I-hate-their-guts Allscripts program. *silently pleads for that to be soon*

Jack, you seem to be a bit mistaken... the latest AC update fixed the box 12/box 13 issues.... So techincally AC is now corerctly checking boxes 12/13... allowing OA to parse that data properly. Latest release corrected this due to many complaints from AC users sending to OA. Just to clarify.

So, does AC export everything to the OA website or do you have to use their practice mate software?

Run Export by date and you can select where to place the file. Place it in a folder called "Office Ally" on your desktop. After export, it will ask if you wish to go to OA website. Say yes and you can log in and upload the HFCA forms to OA.
