I just got through the upgrade of several computers to version 5. Several observations:
1. Upgrading the Windows 7 & Vista computers -- no problems.
2. Every Win XP computer that I upgraded failed during the install with a Windows Installer Error (2324). I had to remove AC version 4 using the Control Panel software removal utility before the install succeeded.
3. I upgraded in the usual order, main computer first, then networked clients. Some of the clients initially could not connect to the main computer's database until I rebooted my network router and the main computer.

It seems to be relatively common at this point to need to uninstall AC to upgrade if you have XP. Now, I seem to be the exception. I only had to do this on one laptop that had XP Home on it. My desktops with XP Pro uprgraded with no problem.
