There is website for practicing physicians regarding our concerns - It is 100,000 strong and growing. The president took on Howard Dean on CNBC today. This guy opposes the AMA, which he used to support - along with AAFP and ACP who have been bought off. I strongly urge people to sign up so we can be heard. We have to organize or we will be run over. The hospitals, drug companies, AARP - where are they? - are silent or have already cut deals. Musical chairs - We will not have a seat. Sermo is free only active docs and we have 2 choices - either gritch to ourselves and take it or band together and be heard. If we stay silent then we deserve what we get. I have been in practice for 20+ years and this is the most serious theat I have seen. Your choice. - here is the site http://www.sermo.com/

I agree, Everyone needs to speak out. The AMA is not representing our voice anymore. I commented on SERMO and sent a letter to the AMA protesting their support of the current Health Care reform plan because it was short-sited. I suggest we all get involved now, or face possible extinction.
