Does anyone have the steps to synchronizing ac to a laptop. I have installed ac on the laptop checking the option maybe this is my main computer so it will install SQL. We tried once and it completed wiped out the database. Fortunately I always back up before any major changes.

What version are you on?

Even after the initial release I believe there were problems with the syncing, so there was a one or two point version put out afterwords that addressed a sync issue. At least I read that there was a sync issue addressed with 4.0.62 or so.

I have had several failures (but never a database wipe out) using WiFi to sync my main computer to a wireless laptop. So I always sync the laptop when it is attached to the network by ethernet cable.
