In playing around with Google Health, I began to wonder more about the CCR export in xml format. Does anyone use this and for what purpose? Seems like it would be helpful if it would interface with sites like Google Health and others.

The Future of EHR My article above addresses this issue and proposes a solution. The day is fast approaching where EVERY EHR will have to be able to read/write to some external health record, either Google Health, MS Health Vault or some Medicare based system. I have raised the issue here before with regards to what role physicians are going to play.
