i hadn't needed it much before, but now as we're scanning everything coming into office, i occasionally get color images (from gi scopes, etc) and i tried saving as .tiff, but it seems to take almost 3 megs a page-there's a LZH method of color compression, but i don't think AC is using it. tried saving as .gif and it was only about 300kb-10x smaller, but i can't save multipage files w/ gif. pdf is somewhere in the middle.
on the b+w site, ac4 does fine.
