I wish some of the item lists were editable. Specifically the lot number of immunizations, the list of states, and the list of insurances. Some of those are duplicate and it will be just about impossible for me to fix unless I figure a way to delete all of the insurance, information at once.
I can't do that to the lot numbers though. And why is it that AC records who is logged in when a given shot is entered, but doesn't show this when you go to print, requiring a work-around.

Benjamin,
Thanks for the post. You can your name to the list of over at least 50 who have complained about this.
Question: Why would you want your printout to have the MA's name on it as the one who gave the shot.

We wouldn't want the MA name listed as the one who gave the shot. In NY MAs cannot administer medication. I don't think they are even supposed to draw it up. So, uh, even if certain, um , things happened, duh, you don't want it recorded that it happened that way.

Hmm, I see Wcoghill, then we really wouldn't want that as a default behavior.
It seems to be fine here in TX, and when looking at the state requirements for records we are required to record who administers the vaccination. The person logged in who enters the vaccination is recorded by AC, but that information isn't shown at all, and it seems that during an audit it would be expected that there be something similar to the administers initials previously recorded on paper. We don't have a way to do that. It doesn't matter whether it prints with the record, but I would like to have a semi-automatic system in place to record the administrator. Though perhaps there is a better solution.
My idea really wouldn't work as a general rule.

As a workaround, maybe you could have your MAs enter their initials in the sequence dropdown box. That is if you don't use that field. We certainly don't as I do not see where it helps all that much given all of the rules one uses with vaccines.

Yes, we used another field to record the information we needed. But, I believe it could be improved.
