Im glad to see we have a number of illustrations to choose from but 3 things I would like to see.
1.the quality of some of the orientations are in a shadow and therefore not clear....(front arm)
2.the same area is not available for BOTH sides of the body (for example, the face image)
3.In some instances, the illustrations look disturbingly real (slightly offensive) and would be more appropriate if they in fact, actually resembled illustrations rather than graphic pictures. Also, it seems that all are based off a female torso (chest images) rather than a generic/male torso with additional female images as needed. The pelvis is only female...no illustration of male genitalia. I think the addition of male images will be very welcome. Thanks!

The ones you already put in? We can help with that? Or are you looking for the templates?

Oh, sorry, after reading the first post, you are probably looking for the illustrations themselves.

So, if you are looking for the actual illustrations, they are in the Amazing Charts folder in a folder called.....Illustrations.

Though I have not done so yet, I plan on scanning a few of the common illustrations I use (such as the cervix) and put those in the illustrations folder. We could even share some of these.

I think we could come up with lots of illustrations if Jon could let us know what resolution, format, etc we should use for illustrations - could make this a group project.
I will write Jon and ask him about his interest.

Not sure the pixels, Steven, but they seem to be .JPG at 140 by 140.

It seems that any picture can be used as long as it is in .gif, .jpg, or .bmp, but not .png. The size doesn't seem to matter much as long as the pictures are 'n X n' since the window compresses the pic into a square. So, smallest that looks good.

I would second that. I did a few on my own. Although, when I GOOGLED medical illustrations, etc. it was hard to find similar pictures. I did find a good eye ball.

When you are in a note look just above the vitals and you will see 3 tabs (Physical Exam, pictures, and illustrations). Click on the illustrations tab and then click on the select illustrations and you will see the list of available illustrations and can view/preview them. Hope this helps.

Well, I don't think we can actually tell Vicki where they are unless she clarifies her question. From reading it, I am thinking she is looking for where they are kept within the AC folder or database and not in where you find them within the note. I had referred to that earlier but then told her the other. I think she will need to tell us.

Sorry for the confusion, I was looking on the Z drive in the AC folder. They're not there. Jodie says I need to try to reinstall AC. I'll let you know after I try it.

I did reinstall it without success at first, but I found a work around. I chose save to z drive of my server where my AC files are and then ran the installation. It insisted on installing on the c drive of my server. I just copied the entire folder over to the z drive and it works.

Vicki, Glad you got it to work. But always the hard way! lol Next time, just go to any of your workstations and go the AC folder there and copy and paste the illustrations folder into your server folder.
