After the users' conference, I realized I needed to put more time and energy into getting the board working correctly:
I've upgraded the board to the latest version.
I contacted their tech support and they told me why the double log in issue happened (seems I set the board to "think" it is at amazingcharts.com/ub instead of
www.amazingcharts.com/ub - which made it redirect itself after logging in). Anyway, it should be fixed now (though I wonder if now folks who had bookmarked the former site now have to double log in themselves)?
The Who's Online and other dynamic "islands" (as they are called), are cached and updated every 10 minutes or so - hence the delay in updating/changing the data.
Hopefully the board is easier to read now, and easier to use. It is obvious that the board is much more of a critical resource than I realized, and we will commit the resources and time to getting it working correctly.
