Long term planning is required. I made a post in another thread about getting a call from a crying lady because her husband passed away with his EMR server sitting on the floor of the bedroom where he would just pass out patient information as needed. Now, suddenly, she's getting angry calls from patients, doctors, lawyers, etc. for data she knew no idea how to retrieve.
