Thank you very much for responding. I can certainly check that today. I don’t think I’ve looked into bios settings. It is just so strange. It would have to almost be a laptop specific bios setting as even newer desktops work. I’ll confirm what I find. I’ll especially compare the one slightly older version of the laptop that does work to the newer one of the same or similar model.
