No it can't. That's an AC thing. I wish it could do that too!
But another faster way might be to navigate to that patient's Imported Items folder on your sever, select all the PDFs, right-click, and depending on your PDF software, there may be an option that says "combine PDFs." Of course, this will included all the scanned items, including all the "non-medical" items.
