This is an extension from my initial problem of disc space being consumed by back up.
When I had virtually no disc space I could not open AC program on server. I then used the WD 10 app which pop up to create disc space. when I ran it is cleared up some space
but when I tried to start AC I got the below message and problems.
"Could not open AC configuration file at C:\program file(x86) system settings. xml. This due to error "Root element missing" This then brought up the AC set up assistant. From which I selected the "this is my main computer" which then brought up a run time error.
So my thinking was that perhaps something on WD 10 was deleted by the create disc space app. So I ran a set point recovery to 10/11/2018 when all was working well. I restated the AC back up services as well. However I'm still getting the same error so it did not fix my problem. I then ran the repair from the add and delete program app. This appears to have run half way when stopped with an error message that flashed I believe stating the it "failed because of interruption". I believe the next step will be to delete AC program and re-install. However this is beginning to look like a problem I recently had when they could not even delete the program and I had to move the program to a different computer and re-install windows before they could get it to work. The thing is my client computers are working so that's a plus. Anyways any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks
