How do you do these things? IE: ("I had to manually add it in ACPM and deactivate the old less specific DX code.")
I have occasionally just "mimicked" a code for a single patient by pasting the desired code and description into their assessment list (using icd10data.com info), but it is not available for any other patient. Is there a way to add individual codes to the ICD-10 database? I also didn't know there was a way to "deactivate" a code. This would be very useful as, for instance, the generic "osteopenia" code does not fly for Medicare for DEXA orders, and the Medicare accepted code in AC has the descriptor of "broadened bone," which does not seem appropriate (sorry about the minor rant).
