Is anyone else part of an ACO...because that is who is pushing us to go for the PCMH now rather than later....and we are extremely short staffed.
I spoke with a woman who is working with us to obtain, who is part of the ACO,and I passed along the changes for 2017 and she responded:
"There are some things that I do know, such as you will need to be audited throughout your recognition period to keep your status, Physicians will have to do more of the work for initial recognition, the cost will be higher and you have to meet their timeline. You can't pick and choose how you go about it . It is very regimented. "
