I've been trying to install AC 7 on Win 8.1. It went well on my ultrabook that had a native install. When trying to install on my desktop, it won't. The desk top started out as Win 7 and then was updated to Win 8 and then Win 8.1. Each time I try to install it comes to a point where it says I must update my database. It then refers me to a site that says "this site is for paid clients only and then quits. Then I'll start again and it'll say I have the newest database installed and then while installing it'll go through the routine again about not having the right database. I'm trying to see if I can set up AC so that I have a base server and then use my 11" Dell 2in1 flipbook with it but can't get the program installed on the main desktop. Thanks
