I do not know about the clearinghouse part of the question, but the importing is done by exporting claims data from AC and importing the claims data into EZClaim. EZClaim has the capability to accept imported claims data from AC. There is no automatic interface. You do not purchase anything from AC so there is no $500 cost.
At the end of the day(when you are finished with your notes and have attached procedure codes and charges when you have signed off on the charts) you export the claims data from that day or any date range into a file that you import into EZClaim.
One still has to adjust and "tweek" the charges in EZClaim after the import before you either print CMS 1500 forms or send to clearing house.(the charges/procedure codes generated by AC are still with problems).
