Forgive me if I have diverted the thread on a tangent, but your post Jimmie about the Isle of Pitcairn got me thinking. By the way in 1839 my great,great,great grandfather was a whaler and visited Pitcairn's Island and met with the son of Lieutenant Christian who led the mutiny.
