Has anyone had any experience using external drives with AC? If so, what type of configuration do you have? I ask because at some point in the future, we wil outgrow our drive space (not for at least a couple years I hope). What I would need is a huge volume for storing imported items. The database itself isn't an issue. Is it possible to have II on a separate volume from the database? If so, can it be a NAS, such as Drobo? Like I said, I'm not anywhere near capacity yet, but I want to know what my options are before getting a disk full error. ;-)
Oh, and it would have to be RAID 1.
