First create a test Echo, Cat scan, etc
Give it a grade of recommendation usually Screening or other
give age range and frequency and then save
Search for the test and reopen Under tab Additional settings
you can enter decision support rules or diagnosis codes, Medications etc.
When the patient has a specific diagnosis or decision support such as diabetes, COPD then the related test will show up.
The MA enters the date of the test in 2 places where it asks for the date and in the description along with the impression. This then appears in the note.
This is done as part of chart prep and she forwards me this chart to my inbox for use.
