I did as you suggested: Uninstalled java / updox, deleted updox printer, restarted computer, reinstalled latest java (ver 7 update 21), restarted pc for good measure, installed updox, and got the same Syntax error x 5. Nothing changed. I wish I could just install java 6. I do not get errors with that version. I did reinstall the printer, but for some reason I could not find the updox_9100 port and had to do it manually.
