My own 2 cents which is probably what it is worth :-)
I have set AC to back up automatically to a folder monitored by a cloud service (dropbox). After it backs up it automatically is pushed to a cloud and then the cloud pushes it back down to mirror on my office machines as well as my home machine. I would need to have 5 hard drives crash simultaneously plus the online server to go down to lose my data. Had to restore my system once when I changed server boxes and went smooth with no problems. Costs me $10 a month and for an additional $5 a month they will save the deleted backups as well. Never can have too many backups....
