We are in exactly the same situation, I have been using Dragon Preferred 9.5 on a WinXPPro machine. The days of this setup are numbered, slower and slower....

Just as you said, the older Dragon will not work on Win7 64 bit. The newer Dragon will not work with AC.

So I have resigned myself to having to purchase Dragon Medical. Eventually. However, I am a bit concerned that Medical v12 may some problems of its own...
