Brian is correct, that is the way to handle the problem (when you sign the note it will ask you if the DOS is correct) unfortunately, if you are like me, I print out a letter to the referring doc for 99% of visits and that date is automatically dated on the day you are typing it which can make it look like you are seeing people on the oddest dates---then again there is a work around by adding the correct date of service in the body of the letter. Nothing is perfect is it?
