You know all those windows and wizards that make life easier for the average Joe? It's not going to be like that. It's going to be more like what Andrechuk posted. This is the system that IT veterans (been in the business for 20 years or more) are accustomed too.

I do find it amusing that the desktop operating system and the server operating system are deviating so significantly. Windows 8 is trying to get everyone on touch screens with a rich GUI and using the keyboard as little as possible. While Server 2012 is being designed as to make sure your hands never touch a mouse and remain on the keyboard. It's funny flame wars are starting all over the Internet for those in the IT Industry. There are obvious benefits to using a command line, which I won't outline here. But I see little benefit for those who don't have in-house IT. My bet that it'll only be marketed on the Enterprise/Datacenter version of Server 2012 or it will be optional during the setup. Small Business Server will probably get a better GUI. I'm pretty MS wouldn't be dumb enough to undo all the work with Essentials and SBS Standard.
