Well, my faith in the American Spirit lives on. A patient of mine who lost everything in the recent tornadoes just checked in. She was talking about how people in Ohio have been mailing stuff of hers that they found there. The patient I had just finished with overheard her. The tornado victim started to pay her copay (remember it is against the law for me to not charge the copay frown . I would however have written it off as a bad debt) )when the the other patient took out her wallet and said, "Here, let me pay it for you." All of us started crying!
