Tragic events like this really are a reminder to all of us to stop, slow down, and be grateful. We get so caught up in our daily gripes and aggravations that we all lose sight of how fortunate we are. I am glad you were spared, and feel tremendous sadness for those affected. I think it is hard to imagine this kind of devastation.
I, too, am thankful for this user board, and all of you who have so kindly assisted me. And, yes, amused me too!
I was telling a friend about Lyistrata, and he informed me that his (Jesuit) University just put on a performance of Lysistrata with the appropriate costumes and appendages. Not just our board going pornographic with the classics!
