Anyone out there have any plans for an underground tornado shelter? Vickie, Jim...I know you understand what I am talking about.
Usually I am a sarcastic, cynical, say-it-like-it-is kind of gal but this last Friday really broke my heart. As many of you undoubtedly heard, Southern Indiana was devastated by a series of tornadoes. Three of them touched down within 10-20 miles of my farm. I have many, many patients in Henryville. A 2 year old girl was found in a field that I drive by twice a day. Her family was all killed. She lived long enough for her grandmother to have to make the decision to take her off life-support. I feel so fortunate that not so much as a shingle was blown off my house. But, it reminds me to take the time to thank all of my friends here on the ACUB for the many, many years of camaraderie, jokes, laughter and technical assistance given free gratis. I also want to thank those of you who so adeptly pointed out the pornography in a recent post of mine. Without you, Lysistrata's hand would have simply been resting on a piece of wood. smile
