SoapWare gave one the ability to choose which printer would print various documents. I could ask to print using hot keys (ctrl+P) and it would print to the printer I set as the default for that form. My PM also has this feature. Superbills are defaulted to the Okidata while appointment lists default to the printer up front and practice management reports default to the printer on my desk.
