We would love to fax all of our lab and xray orders. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, when we do so, the hospital inevitably will not get them. The patient shows up, no orders are there, and I get an after-hours or weekend call. When our new hospital opens next fall I am hopeful we will have a more direct interface between offices and scheduling.
