Yes, when I said "save button", I meant it figuratively. I could have said "a combination of keystrokes which cause my data to be saved", but it didn't sound quite as snappy!

The function I am referring to can be found thusly:

1. Open a patient file.
2. Use your mouse to click on "File", in the vicinity of the upper left corner of the screen.
3. A dropdown menu will appear. At the bottom of the menu, you may select "Save Chart (to your message inbox)". The menu seems to indicate that you may also press the "Ctrl" key, and the "S" key simultaneously to activate this feature.

When I use the "Ctrl-S" function, the last group of words I type in a given field disappears, unless I click on another field before typing "Ctrl-S" (with the seeming exception of the HPI and the ROS).

I am not sure how to explain it any more clearly.
