I also use the PMH. I have a template called "Complete" and either on the first office visit for a patient or at their first Complete exam this template is put into the PMH

I can then note the dates easily every time I pull up a patient and see when they are due.

Other things I want to track can also easily be noted, like when the last carotid doppler was done on a patient with a bruit or CXR on a smoker, etc. This has worked really well for me, an Internist.
