As Bert has pointed out if you want to run it yourself, a second server running RDP would be the way to go - the goal being to keep all of the processing on the same physical network segment.
Another alternative is to run it in a hosted/managed environment and access that environment from both locations.
It comes down to what you want to do, how much of the tech you want to run yourself.
